CBCOB Bowling Club Raises Funds for the Military Veterans in Need

The CBCOB Bowling Club recently organized a heartwarming fundraiser with a noble cause in mind – to support the military veterans residing at The Sound Memory Cottages Retirement Home. Players from CBCOB, in partnership with MOTH (The Memorable Order of Tin Hats), were eager to contribute to the cause, generously donating non-perishable food items. The act of giving became a shared mission, creating a sense of unity among the club members, each one recognizing the importance of supporting those in need this festive season.

What made the event even more impactful was the overwhelming response from the community as the Louwin Marais Foundation stepped forward with a substantial donation of food parcels which helped amplify the impact of the fundraiser. The collective effort resulted in a significant amount being raised, providing crucial support for the military veterans in need. The funds and donated food items will undoubtedly go a long way in enhancing the quality of live for the residents of the Retirement Home.

CBCOB Bowling Club would like to thank everyone who took part and donated to make this a successful fundraiser. The event stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when individuals and organizations come together for a common, benevolent purpose.
